Heath Bowman is a recognized leader in the neuro endovascular medical device space, holding a degree in BioEngineering from UCSD and over 50 issued patents. With extensive experience across the medical, electronics, machining, and fabrication industries, Heath has led the development of products that are now used internationally for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke treatment. He has also built and managed global manufacturing operations, including a medical device plant in Costa Rica. In addition to his medical innovations, Heath has contributed to defense and commercial sectors through imaging technology development. His commitment to solving complex clinical challenges drives Vasis Medical’s mission forward.
Alex Conesa brings over 35 years of experience in software architecture, AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity. His systems, developed more than 20 years ago, are still widely used across global markets today, including innovations like the first touchscreen point-of-sale (POS) interface and soundcard technology developed in the 1990s. Alex has held multiple C-level positions across industries and has been instrumental in building secure, scalable platforms for medical, financial, and defense sectors. His expertise in integrating AI/ML technologies and his leadership in digital transformation have been instrumental in advancing Vasis Medical’s diagnostic, therapeutic, and operational capabilities.
